Jason Raines, ACF

Sr. Forester & Operations Manager

Jason grew up in Aledo, TX, moving east to attend school where he graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor of science in Forest Wildlife Management, and a master of science in spatial science.  Jason held positions as a utility forester, and geospatial applications specialist before joining Acorn as a GIS specialist.  He quickly learned the other aspects of Acorn and now runs the GIS department as well as all of the field operations, assisting Justin in guiding the company.  Jason specializes in GIS, prescribed burning, tree planting, and mechanical site preparation.  He is active in the Texas Forestry Association, Louisiana Forestry Association, Texas Prescribed Burn Managers Council, and Association of Consulting Foresters.
